Fatal Collision Involving Multiple Vehicles
KOTA TINGGI: A fatal accident occurred at Felda Penggeli on Friday morning (Jan 3) when a motorcyclist died after a four-vehicle collision. The crash involved two Perodua Alza cars, a Proton Saga, and a Yamaha NVX motorcycle.
Firefighters Arrive at the Scene
According to Bandar Tenggara Fire and Rescue Department station chief Bakhtiar Selamat, a team of 12 firefighters, led by senior officer II Ibrahim Ishak, reached the accident site at 8:08 am, about 20 km away from the fire station. The accident was reported at 7:47 am.
Victim Found Trapped Beneath the Proton Saga
Bakhtiar confirmed that the motorcyclist, identified as Muhammad Fareedzul Anuar, 24, was trapped under the Proton Saga. Firefighters had to use specialized equipment to extricate the victim’s body, which was later handed over to the police for further action.
Other Drivers Unhurt in the Accident
The drivers of the other three vehicles were fortunate to escape the crash without injuries. The rescue operation concluded by 9:30 am.
