Tragic Crash Claims Life of Mother and Toddler

Fatal Accident on West Coast Expressway

A devastating accident on the West Coast Expressway near Manjung took the lives of a mother and her two-year-old son on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at KM212 southbound, when their car hit a divider and overturned.

Ejection and Second Impact

Manjung OCPD Asst Comm Hasbullah Abd Rahman stated that the toddler was ejected from the vehicle following the collision. Another vehicle traveling in the same direction couldn’t stop in time and struck the boy on the road. The 24-year-old father and their three-year-old son survived the accident.

Investigating Authorities Seek Witnesses

A third vehicle was also involved in the accident when it hit the overturned car. The case is under investigation, and authorities are urging any witnesses to come forward.
