Known for His Solitude
KUALA LUMPUR: A reclusive man, accused of killing his elderly mother and storing her body in a freezer for years, was known to keep to himself in the Taman OUG area. Neighbours noted his lack of social interaction and preference for solitude.
Rare Appearances in the Last Fortnight
One unnamed neighbour, speaking on Wednesday (Nov 13), revealed that the man, believed to be in his 50s, had been spotted only a handful of times recently, particularly over the last fortnight. “He always leaves his house in a car, probably to get food, and then comes back,” the neighbour noted.
Avoiding Socializing with Others
Several neighbours, some of whom have lived in the area for decades, commented that the man kept to himself and rarely spoke to anyone. “He doesn’t talk to anyone here,” one neighbour remarked.
The Elderly Mother’s Absence
As for the suspect’s mother, in her 80s, she had not been seen in the community for some time. Another neighbour noted that the man’s home was often in darkness, suggesting the man may have been ill. “We thought he might have had a stroke,” she added.
The Discovery of the Body
The tragic discovery of the mother’s body in a freezer was reported by the police on Tuesday, with the suspect allegedly calling authorities. Investigations are ongoing, with officials treating the case as a murder.
