Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that the transport company involved in the recent fatal truck crash in Pekan, Pahang, will face penalties alongside the drug-impaired driver. The accident, which killed 2 and injured 4, highlighted the need for stricter enforcement. Loke emphasized the Transport Ministry’s commitment to zero tolerance for drug-impaired driving and announced continuous nationwide enforcement actions. He called on all heavy vehicle companies to ensure their drivers are held accountable.
