Teen Girl Rescued in Shah Alam Kidnapping Incident

Father’s Alarm and Police Investigation

PETALING JAYA: A 15-year-old girl was freed from her captors after authorities arrested seven people, including two women, in connection with the kidnapping.

As per South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong, the girl’s father reported the incident on November 18 after receiving a distressing voicemail from her phone. The teen had left home around 4pm, and when she didn’t return by 6:30pm, the father attempted to call her.

Voice Messages Lead to Misleading Clues

“Upon trying to reach her, he received a message stating that she had an argument with a man and that he should meet her in Subang,” ACP Cha revealed, citing Sinar Harian’s report.

However, when he arrived at the location, his daughter was nowhere to be found. Moments later, he received another message, this time via WhatsApp, stating she had been dropped off in Kuala Lumpur.

Police Action and Suspect Arrests

Police acted swiftly, locating the kidnappers at an apartment in i-City, Shah Alam, where the girl was found safe. Authorities arrested three males and two females, aged between 15 and 19, in connection with the kidnapping.

Further operations led to the arrest of two more suspects, aged 16 and 18, near Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur. None of the arrested individuals had any prior criminal history, and all are currently in custody for further investigation.
