Kelantan Sees Significant Increase in Evacuations
KUALA LUMPUR: The flood situation in Kelantan has dramatically worsened. By Wednesday afternoon, 5,493 people from 1,682 families had been relocated to 76 relief centers, a major increase from the 250 evacuees the previous day.

Six Rivers in Kelantan at Dangerous Levels
Six rivers in Kelantan, including Sungai Golok and Sungai Melor, have surpassed critical levels, exacerbating the flooding. Flash floods from overnight rains disrupted road traffic in Kota Baru.

Terengganu Reports Rising Floodwaters
In Terengganu, over 1,200 evacuees from 384 families are sheltering in 42 centers. Seven locations along six rivers have been marked at dangerous levels.

Stable Flood Situation in Johor
Meanwhile, Johor’s flood situation remains steady, with minimal evacuations in Segamat. The state has not seen major flooding as of Wednesday.
