
EcoWorld Strikes RM119 Million Land Deal in Johor
PETALING JAYA: Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) has reached an agreement to sell a 32.9-acre industrial plot in Johor to Deye New Energy for RM119 million.
In an official statement, EcoWorld Malaysia confirmed that the land is part of Eco Business Park II, located in Senai, Iskandar Malaysia.
Growing Interest from Chinese Investors
Liew Tian Xiong, deputy CEO of EcoWorld Malaysia, stated that this transaction underscores the ongoing interest of Chinese industrial players in Eco Business Parks, especially in innovative and high-growth sectors.

Deye’s Expansion Plans
Deye, a subsidiary of Ningbo Deye Technology Co from China, has unveiled plans to allocate up to US$150 million for a new solar equipment production facility in Malaysia.
Ningbo Deye is recognized as a high-tech enterprise and a key competitor in the global solar inverter industry.
